Commission Information
Pricing
I am open to taking commission work. I currently don't have a set pricing system (perhaps I will develop one in the near future), so prices will vary depending on materials, complexity of subject matter, and time necessary to complete the project*. All of these items will be discussed before the preliminary sketching.
*Unless otherwise agreed, I reserve the right to sell prints of the artwork. If you want exclusive image rights - which means I cannot sell prints - there will be an additional fee of 25%.
Payment
I require payment up front. I will only give refunds according to the following conditions:
- If the prelim sketches do not meet your approval and you wish to cancel, you will receive a 100% refund.
- If I have begun coloring or inking, whether in traditional medium (pencils, paints, markers) or digital medium, and you wish to cancel before the piece is completed, you will receive a 50% refund.
Content
Generally, I will not take commissions for fanart of any published character, story, movie, or stage production (murky legal waters). If you have permission from the creator of a character in written form, or if you have an original character or concept, that will be fine.
